Conquered Kings represents reminding ourselves on the ability to overcome the obstacles we face, rebel against those that oppress us and conquer our kings; our fears. We’re more than just a clothing brand, but an empowering brand. We want to help others. We want to help you succeed in life.
Fear is one of the most powerful emotions that we have. It plays games on our mind and forces us to give in and surrender to our enemies. Fear can create strong signals when faced with emergencies but can also overcome us when in non-emergencies like a new job, a date, or trying something new. Fearing failure can make you can make you try to do well so that you won’t fail but it can also stop us from trying in the first place.
Our early ancestors needed a fear response that was fast and powerful to survive. Thankfully, we no longer face the same threats.
So, here’s what I want to encourage you to do. FACE YOUR FEAR. Conquer your king. Own your own destiny and take life by the horns. If you always avoid situations that scare you, you may miss out on something extraordinary. You won’t know what you’re capable of unless you try. You may fail the first time, or six. But that’s okay, learn from them.
Next time that fear creeps its way in, stop and pay attention. Ask yourself, am I truly in danger or is this a manufactured fear that’s blocking me from prevailing? Real fear can save our lives. Manufactured fear stops us from moving forward. Growth doesn’t happen in the comfort zone.
When you wear our clothes, we want you to feel confident, and know that it is ok to feel fear, it’s what you do after that matters. In moments of fear, panic does nothing. Harness it. Let it serve you. (Kratos fans out there).
